Today is a sunny, mild day in beautiful Shepherdstown. Yesterday we had much needed rain, which came down in torrents!

I heard a sound in Back Alley, I check to see what it was. It was one of our amazing town workers, sitting on a Bobcat, sweeping the debris from the alley. We were so blessed by the workers; trash pick-up twice a week, yard waste once a week (rain or shine or snow).

Next time you see one of these hard working town employees, give them a smile and a thank you.
