A contemporary view of Wizard Clip

By Staff | Nov 27, 2020

History lives and evolves in mysterious ways.

The November 20 article about Wizard Clip noted that an expert on the ghostly legend “has read more than 100 versions of the story.”

Just in the last few months local author Joanne Bario, who actually lived in the “haunted” Livingston house, has been inspired to give us yet another perspective on the legend. Ghost story aficionados can find her contemporary version in “Hallowed Ground,” her new short story in Ghost Stories of Shepherdstown, Vol.1. The book is an anthology of contemporary ghost stories, all by local authors, published by Four Seasons Books.
