Voting for Marcy Bartlett on Tuesday
I have volunteered face-to-face, shoulder-to-shoulder with Marcy Bartlett on the advisory board for our town’s great Lifelong Learning Program.
Nobody gets more done during — and especially after, since follow-up is everything — our monthly meetings than Marcy. Not since Steve Ayraud had to leave the committee, after helping define and codify Lifelong Learning’s meanings. “Class participation is us,” Steve proved and we keep growing. Thanks, Steve.
Marcy has codified, with the Lifelong Learning directors, just about everything since. Like Elizabeth Warren, she always has a plan or makes a little booklet, at least, for almost everything. I know she will bring all of this – and “mo’, mo’ “as Shakespeare wrote – to the Town Council. Great project managers rock the work!
How do those lyrics of Joseph Parry’s go? “Make new friends, but keep the old,” because those who do want to do more for the town . . . “Those are silver, these are gold.”
