The Trinity MeaL provides nutritious meals to children during the summer

The Trinity MEaL - St. John Lutheran Church (Harpers Ferry), Bolivar United Methodist Church (Bolivar) and St. John's Episcopal Church (Harpers Ferry) in collaboration with the Jefferson County Council on Aging, announces their sponsorship of the The Trinity MeaL Summer Food Service Program for children and seniors.

Lunch, snacks and activities are open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate.

Free meals for children will be served at the following sites from now through August 15:

-Bolivar United Methodist Church (1215 W Washington Street, Harpers Ferry). Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Lunch 12-1 p.m., Activities 1-1:45 p.m., Snack 1:45-2 p.m.

-St. John Lutheran Church (950 W Washington Street, Harpers Ferry) Tuesday and Thursday, Lunch Lunch 12-1 p.m., Activities 1-1:45 p.m., Snack 1:45-2 p.m.

-St. John's Episcopal Church (898 W Washington Street, Harpers Ferry) Tuesday and Thursday, Activities 1-1:45 p.m., Snack from 1:45-2 p.m.

-Blue Ridge Mountain Volunteer Fire Department (181 Keyes Gap Road, Mission Road) Tuesday and Thursday, Lunch 12-1 p.m., Activities 1-1:45 p.m., Snack 1:45-2 p.m.

-Jefferson County Council on Aging Senior Center (103 W 5th Avenue, Ranson) Monday-Friday, Lunch 12-1 p.m., Activities 1-1:45 p.m., Snack 1:45-2 p.m.

A nutritious meal and physical activity are important for healthy children to learn, play and remain active during the summer months.
