MORGANTOWN — West Virginia University battled against Texas Christian University over the weekend. During their game on Friday night, the Mountaineers lost, 5-14. The next day, the two teams met again at noon at Monongalia County Ballpark for a second game, in which the Mountaineers lost, 1-6. The weekend concluded with a turn-around of events on Sunday, when the two teams met for their third and final game over the weekend and the Mountaineers won, 6-5.
