In an effort to raise funds to help support the Shepherdstown Volunteer Fire Department, the 22nd annual John D. Lowe memorial Golf Classic is planned for Thursday, May 10.

The event offers a lunch provided by Chick-Fil-A as well as prizes in the areas of closest to the pin, straightest drive for women and longest drive for men. Door prizes will also be distributed.

Registration for the event will be held at 10 a.m. the day of the tournament. Lunch will be served at 11:45 and tee-off is a t 12:30 p.m. Cost for individual players is $95.
