Shepherd University will host the West Virginia Senior Sports Classic racquetball tournament on June 23 at the Wellness Center.

The event is open to anyone 50 or older. The first four finishers qualify to participate in the 2013 National Senior games to be held in Cleveland, Ohio. The state qualifying event is the only way to qualify for the national games. Participation is by age group in 5 year increments.

Other events will be held in Charleston June 21-23 including golf, tennis, bowling, bike races, track and field and swimming.
