Senior cornerback Keon Robinson (Fairfax Station, VA/Lake Braddock) of the Shepherd University football team has been named WVIAC Defensive Player of the Week for his stellar play in Shepherd’s 16-10 win over Charleston on Saturday.

Robinson returned an interception 48 yards for a touchdown to help the Rams erase a 10-0 deficit in the win over previously undefeated University of Charleston. He also added a pair of solo tackles two pass breakups.
