Senior tight end John Frick (Greencastle, PA/Greencastle-Antrim) of the Shepherd University football team has been named to the roster for the 2013 BSN Collegiate Showcase. The event will take place March 8-10 at the Stile Athletic Field House in Akron, Ohio. Top players from the FCS, D2, D3 and NAIA will display their skills for scouts from the NFL, CFL, and AFL. The showcase is designed to give scouts and executives the ability to scout and evaluate athletes differently that a traditionally pro day.

Athletes will participate in a scouting combine, position drills, 1-on-1 drills, 7-on-7 drills and an All-Star game.

Frick, a First Team All-WVIAC and Third Team Don Hansen Division II All-Region selection in 2012, had 14 receptions for 123 yards and a pair of touchdown grabs last season.
