The Class AAA boy’s state tournament field was settled on Tuesday when No. 1 seeded Washington was joined by once-beaten South Charleston, Hedgesville, George Washington, Huntington, Parkersburg South, Hurricane and Morgantown.

Washington faces No. 8 seed Morgantown on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. in the Charleston Civic Center.

Other first round games have fourth-seeded George Washington playing No. 5 seed Huntington at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, second-seeded South Charleston dueling with No. 7 Hurricane at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday and third-seeded Hedgesville meeting No. 6 Parkersburg South at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Should Washington defeat Morgantown it would play a semifinal game on Friday against the winner of the George Washington vs. Huntington game. The Class AAA state championship game is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. on Saturday night.
