The Jefferson County 7-9 year old All Star baseball team played in a recent tournament in Martinsburg called “The Battle at the Burg.” The team did quite well, especially as one of the youngest teams competing. They nearly made it to the Championship Game. Pitcher for the team is Sean Morrow. Coach Serf Guerra and is shown with Shane Everhart, both of Shepherdstown. The young boy on second base is Liam Sagerm, also of Sheperdstown He just stole second base and is about to also steal third! A partial team photo from behind is shown as is a full team photo.

Players on the team were Chase Cook, Keagan Everhart, Liam Sager, Sean Morrow, Justin Spickler, Bryan Alford, Logan Monseur, Zach Secrist, Serf Guerra, Garrett Fauble and Ryan Kelly. The boys were coached by Shane Everhart and Larry Guerra while Michael Fauble served as team manager.
