In a cross country quad meet staged by Hedgesville, it was Jefferson winning the girls division and the boys division by considerable margins.

The Lady Cougars had three of the first five finishers with Abby Colbert (18:51), Morgan May (22:12) and Grace Valentine (23:22) placing first, third and fourth in the meet where Jefferson had a team score of 23, Hedgesville was at 55, Spring Mills at 57 and Martinsburg competing without a full squad.

The Jefferson boys had Dylan Stamper (17:13), Mason Young (17:53) and Colin Hayes (18:03) finish second, third and fifth in the individual standings.

Jefferson had a team total of 25, Spring Mills (48), Hedgesville (64) and Martinsburg (an incomplete team) in the team standings.

Daniel Beaver (Hedgesville) won the boys division with his time of 17:03.
