Jefferson loses to Martinsburg for the second time

Even with Michael Bratton, Armonte Craig and Darnell Gardner scoring in double figures, Jefferson lost to Martinsburg for the second time this season. The Bulldogs pushed out to a 49-22 lead by halftime, scoring 31 points in the second quarter alone, and finished with a 78-62 win.

Jefferson is now 5-11 overall after recent losses to both Martinsburg and North Hagerstown. In the Martinsburg loss (seen here), the Cougars actually outscored the Bulldogs in the second half. Jefferson has now lost seven games in a row. Martinsburg is currently 14-3 after losing to Morgantown in its latest game.
