SHENANDOAH JUNCTION — The Black Diamond Baseball Foundation and Jefferson County Little League hosted the Inaugural Negro League Celebration showcase game at the Jefferson County Little League field in Shenandoah Junction on Saturday night. The game followed a preliminary ceremony, honoring the 100th anniversary of Negro League Baseball’s inception. The two teams were chosen from existing JCLL teams. The Monarchs won the game, 7-2.
