Junior pitcher Paul Hvozdovic (Herndon, VA/Herndon) of the Shepherd University baseball team has been named WVIAC Pitcher of the Week as announced by the league office.

Hvozdovic went 2-0 on the week for the Rams. He gave up just one hit while striking out seven in the win over the Fighting Scots. In the complete-game two-hit shutout of Alderson-Broaddus, Hvozdovic struck out eight batters without giving up a walk. For the week, he tallied 15 strikeouts without walking a batter.
