Junior outfielder Michael Lott (Woodbridge, VA/Woodbridge) of the Shepherd University baseball team was named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Region Hitter of the Week.

Lott guided the Rams to three wins on the week while batting .608 at the plate. Lott pounded out 14 hits, including eight that went for extra bases. He recorded six doubles, a triple and a home run. Lott drove in nine runs and scored eight. His five stolen bases on the week helped him establish a single-season school record as he currently has 26 this season.
