Freshman forward/midfielder Courtney Baltizar (Aurora, Colo./Regis Jesuit) of the Shepherd University women’s soccer team has been named the Mountain East Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Baltizar notched a goal and two assists in a 2-0 week for Shepherd. Baltizar scored the game-winning goal against Davis & Elkins. She also assisted on both of Shepherd’s goals against Ursuline to spark the come-from-behind 2-1 victory.
