Shepherd University is pleased to announce the recognition of three baseball teams celebrating the anniversary of their WVIAC championship season. Shepherd will honor the 1984, 2004, and 2009 WVIAC Championship teams on April 12-13 during a four-game series with Notre Dame College.

The 1984 squad posted a 24-9 overall mark with a 20-1 record in conference play and gained an appearance in the NAIA Area 7 Playoffs. The 2004 team recorded a 24-17 overall record with a 9-7 conference mark, while the 2009 team posted a 33-18 overall record with a 13-3 conference mark and secured an appearance in the NCAA II Atlantic Region Tournament

Additionally, six Shepherd athletic teams will be competing or hosting live scrimmages throughout the day during Spring Homecoming-Rams Everywhere. Ram Nation is hosting a cookout adjacent to Ram Stadium starting at 2 p.m. Admission for the day is $15 includes an all you can eat BBQ and complimentary beverages from Captain Benders Tavern in Sharpsburg.

Ram Nation will provide a shuttle between softball and baseball games for those attending.
