Ronald Grubb

Ronald Clark Grubb, 74, of Shepherdstown, WV passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Harmony at Martinsburg, under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born February 21, 1949 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Kenneth Clark Grubb and Margaret Joan (Kees) Grubb.

Ronald was a 1967 graduate of Shepherdstown High School. He attended WVU and received his BSN in 1975, he was one of the first male nurses to graduate the WVU nursing program. He received his (MSN) in Psych/Mental Health Nursing from Catholic University of America in 1991, and in 2001 he received a Master of Divinity from General Theological Seminary in New York, New York.

He was the former house supervisor at Kings Daughters Hospital in Martinsburg, former head nurse of the Emergency Department at Providence Hospital in Washington, DC, former Emergency Department Supervisor at City Hospital, Psych clinical nurse specialist at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York, Director of EMS education at Shepherd College, RN at Jefferson Memorial, nurse at shock trauma center University of MD, Baltimore, MD., and worked at Loudoun County Hospital Cornwall Medical Campus. He was ordained to the priesthood by the Catoctin Association of the United Church of Christ, and a former Pastor at the Christ Reform Church in Shepherdstown, WV. Ronald was a lifelong member of the Shepherdstown Fire Dept, and a Brother of the Order of Corpus Christi

Services will be on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Christ Reformed Church of Martinsburg at 117 E. Burke St., Martinsburg, WV 25401 with Reverend Dave Beeson officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home.
